The polls are open today until 8 p.m. for a town-wide referendum vote at Samuel Staples Elementary School, 515 Morehouse Road.
The following three questions are on the ballot:
1. Shall the Town of Easton appropriate the sum of $49,967,940 for the annual budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025? (This includes Easton’s share of the Region No. 9 budget.)
2. Shall the Regional School District No. 9, composed of the Towns of Easton and Redding, appropriate and authorize the expenditure of $25,407,041 as the operating budget of the district for the period of July 1 2024 to June 30, 2025? (Easton’s share is $13,419,999 and Reddings’ share is $11,987,042.)
3. Shall the Town of Easton approve the lease agreement with the New England Prayer Center?
